I am JOHN...

...an aspiring creator from the Baltimore area. Having sought a new challenge in 2020, I picked up a camera and started exploring my artistic expression through photography.

During my journey, I have learned that low-light is my favorite time to shoot. I enjoy the challenge of capturing light contrasting the shadowed darkness and looking for ways to enhance its impact outside of what our eyes see within a moment.

Since 2023, I have been passionately exploring the challenges and rewards of wildlife photography. Learning and testing the most critical skillset of patience and perseverance. My favorite subject, American Bald Eagles.

The biggest inspiration impacting my photography is from one of the greats, Ansel Adams. His quotes "You don't take a photograph, you make it” and "Life is your art" echo the loudest inspiration for my self-expression. These words encourage and support the evolution of my photographs into artistic creations.
